This is something I did and it’s starting to pay off. After years of building content, creating websites and optimising pages for other people and of course myself, I started to get bored with the whole thing, as with most things if you stop enjoying something, you get bored with it. So you have to think of ways of rekindling the interest. So that’s why I am doing it all over again. Wiping the board clean, well in principle anyway. |
I started by re-structuring my blog, my main focus is on keeping it simple, something we are often told, but how many of us try to find other ways of making life difficult. I have been making my living online for years now, but found myself on many occasions trying too hard, when in fact all along it was a simple case of replicating what worked. (it’s just a case of finding it.)
I am sure you are dying to know what worked? The thing that worked most of all was what I will call the “giving it away factor”, it’s true the more we give away the more we receive. Don’t worry I’m not going to go all religious on you like some god bothering evangelist, but I found that when I gave away information or some of my experience without asking for anything in return, I actually got more back.
That’s why I am answering all your questions below and I will also post videos on this blog to help illustrate the answers I give, all you have to do is ask me a question.
